About Chelsea Accardi
Acupuncturist in Massapequa, Long Island, NY
Hi, I’m Chelsea Accardi
I'm a dedicated and compassionate acupuncturist whose clinical work is deeply rooted in both professional expertise and personal experience.
As a 2017 graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, I began my career with a strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), blending classical theory with modern clinical application.
My journey
My journey
Shortly after graduating, I began practicing in Brooklyn, where I spent the next decade building a loyal and diverse patient base.
Over the years, I treated a wide range of conditions, with special focus on women’s health, fertility support, pain management, mental health concerns, autoimmune disorders, insomnia, and stress-related conditions. My approach emphasized individualized treatment plans, careful listening, and empowering patients to better understand their bodies.
While growing my practice, I discovered the profound effectiveness of trigger point acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain and chronic tension patterns. Recognizing the immediate and functional results this modality could provide, I invested significant time refining my skills in this area.
By integrating trigger point techniques with traditional acupuncture principles, I developed a comprehensive treatment style that addresses both structural and systemic imbalances. This dual focus allowed me to help patients not only relieve pain, but also restore mobility and improve overall quality of life.
My professional path took on even deeper meaning after I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). Navigating my own fertility journey brought me clinical knowledge into personal focus. Using my training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, I supported my body through hormonal regulation, cycle tracking, and stress management as I worked toward conception.
After enduring the emotional and physical challenges that often accompany fertility struggles and pregnancy, I welcomed my first child, Sonnie Leigh.
This experience profoundly shaped my practice. Having personally faced uncertainty, frustration, and vulnerability, I developed an even greater level of empathy and insight for women navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy complications, postpartum transitions, and hormonal imbalances. My care is informed not only by textbooks and clinical hours, but by lived experience. Patients often describe feeling deeply understood and supported under my guidance.
In 2024, after ten years at the same Brooklyn practice, I made the intentional decision to relocate my work closer to home and family. This transition marked a new chapter—one grounded in balance, growth, and continued dedication to patient-centered care. While my setting changed, my mission remained the same: to provide thoughtful, results-driven acupuncture treatments that help patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing journeys.
Today, I continue to specialize in fertility acupuncture, women’s health, and trigger point acupuncture, while maintaining a broad scope of care for chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, mental health support, and sleep disorders. My work reflects a blend of clinical precision, ongoing learning, and heartfelt compassion—qualities that define both my practice and my presence as a practitioner
