Dr. Caitlin Bree Kennedy

Hi, I’m Dr. Caitlin Bree Kennedy

If you had told my younger self I’d one day be sticking people with tiny needles for a living, I would’ve laughed (and then probably had a panic attack). But life has a funny way of nudging us where we’re meant to be.

My acupuncture journey started during a very real, very scary chapter—when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer as a teenager. I was struggling with anxiety, insomnia, and the emotional rollercoaster of an ovarian cancer diagnosis.

When my doctor suggested acupuncture, I thought he was nuts. But after a few sessions, I was sleeping better, eating again, and—most importantly—starting to feel like myself.

That experience lit a fire in me to help others feel better without the laundry list of side effects western medications currently offer.

My journey

I went on to earn my doctorate in acupuncture in 2016 and opened my practice that same year. Before that, I earned a degree in psychology from Hofstra University (because I’ve always been fascinated by how our minds and bodies connect). I also served as captain of the rescue company at my local fire department and hold certification as an advanced emergency medical technician—so whether it’s a little cold or a traumatic injury, I’ve probably handled it.

My clinical passion lies in women’s health and fertility, but what I love most is helping anyone who walks through my door leave in a better state than when they arrived—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

I thrive on getting to know each patient and spending the time needed with them to help figure out the best treatment plan.I believe deeply in blending ancient wisdom with modern understanding, and I’m constantly learning—whether it’s through travel, studying new healing practices, or chatting with locals halfway around the world.

Outside of the treatment room, I’m a wife to the world’s most supportive husband, a proud bonus mom to a spirited little dancer, and dog mom to Whiskey, our duck tolling retriever with boundless energy and personality. I love traveling to new places and making the most out of life, because we only have one and it’s meant to be enjoyed. I also host The Developing Medium podcast, where I share my journey developing my mediumship abilities and help others tune into theirs.

In short: I believe healing should be whole-hearted, personalized, and maybe even a little magical. I’m honored to do this work—and I’d be honored to support you on your journey too.
