There are several acupuncture points for hormonal health and fertility.

Each person will need different points for balance, so there's not just one point to use!

We take a holistic approach to natural fertility treatments, personalized to your individual needs.

It is recommended to get acupuncture for fertility for 3 months before TTC. While you can have success in shorter times, cells take 90 days to change, so we recommend at least 3 months.

Most women need to come in 1x/week, but each person is different and has different needs! We will discuss everything with you during your initial treatment, as well as your diet and lifestyle, to see what other changes might need to be made.

There’s no wrong time to start acupuncture for fertility! However, if your concern is time and/or money, contact your acupuncturist for advice on when to start.

Many women feel like the burden is on them when trying to conceive and many times the men need just as much help as the women.

Fertility acupuncture can help to keep both parents calm on this journey as well as correct any imbalances that might be affecting either or both parents.

Yes! Acupuncture is totally safe during pregnancy and many women opt to have acupuncture instead of taking medications (some women even use acupuncture during delivery as pain management but sorry- we don’t offer that in the office!).

Acupuncture can help with pain related to pregnancy (mostly carpal tunnel, low back & hip), nausea, acid reflux, fatigue, migraines and anxiety.

While this has never been studied, we find that there are certain treatments that can help prevent miscarriage.

Acupuncture is all about balance. And when the body is in harmony it functions better, and helps prevent miscarriage naturally. 

For our mums to be with breach babies, we use moxibustion, the act of burning an herb called Mugwort.

Moxibustion is phenomenal at helping to turn a breech baby! While it can take a few sessions, we have seen babies turn in just 1!

Yes, acupuncture can help prepare the body for delivery. There are some studies being done that have shown that women that receive acupuncture during their pregnancy have easier deliveries with less labor time.

Many women choose to try acupuncture to help induce labor naturally before medication is required, although it's not guaranteed to work- some babies can be quite stubborn!

Just like with any wellness journey, the number of acupuncture treatments for fertility needed varies from person to person. On average, many women see results within 3–4 months of consistent acupuncture (usually once a week). That said, some people notice changes sooner, while others may need a bit more time—and that’s completely okay. Everybody is different, and we tailor your care to meet your unique needs.
